Feng Shui

Feng Shui, the Chinese art of placement. The pursuit of the most harmonious and auspicious place to live and to work. For thousands of years, Chinese have felt that their lives were magically linked to their environment. They believed that certain places were better, luckier, and more sacred than others, and that features of the environment - hills, streams, roads, walls, and doors, all could affect a person. They conclude that if a person changed and balanced his or her surroundings, he or she could balance and improve their life. It is to adapt and harmonize one's ch'i, meaning man's energy and cosmic breath to their surroundings. The shapes of beds, the forms and heights of buildings, the directions of roads, and corners all modify a person's destiny.

Here some basic simple fundamentals of Feng Shui:

Ensure the entrance is welcoming and inviting "Chi"

Remove any clutter or debris from the entrance and walkway. This will ensure that "Chi" is welcoming and inviting. Make sure that there is nothing obstructing the doorway and that the door can open fully. This will ensure that all of the "Chi" can enter.

Clear the clutter

A cluttered environment will lead to confusion and cause you to lose focus on what it is you are trying to create in your life. Everything should have a home.

Check the flow of energy

Check to see if you have any hard energy or "Sha". "Sha" can be found in long hallways or in an entryway. The Half Moon and Sun can be hung in the middle of the hallway or in the entryway to disperse this "Sha" energy. Check to see that your "Chi" is staying in your home. If your front door opens opposite a door/window your money is coming in and going out. Place the Half Moon and Sun on the door/window opposite the front door, this will keep the "Chi" in the home. A small mirror can also be placed on the window frame facing the front door reflecting the energy back into the home.

Clear drains and repair leaky faucets

If your drains are not clearing properly and your faucets are leaking, your energies or money will be either stopped up or you will be losing energy/money. Get them fixed.

Replace burned out lighting and check all electrical elements for proper working order.

Burned out lighting represents that your energies are depleted. If your electrical outlets are overloaded, so are you. If you electrical box has blown a fuse, you properly have to or soon will. Get them all fixed.

Check for cutting arrows

Sharp objects and corners are cutting arrows that will deplete your energies. Protruding corners and edges from walls, fireplace hearths, columns, and even home accessories are considered cutting arrows and will cut your electromagnetic field causing you to lose energy. The color red will hold these energy fields in place protecting you from these cutting arrows. Place the red dots on these corners to cure this ailment.
